allerdings = though

Er weiß es.	He knows.
Er sagt es mir nicht.	He doesn't tell me.
Er weiß es, allerdings sagt er es mir nicht.	He knows, he doesn't tell me though.

somit = therefore

Er unterschreibt den Vertrag.	He signs the contract.
Alles ist klar.	Everything is clear.
Er unterschreibt den Vertrag, somit ist alles klar.	He signs the contract therefore everything is clear.
