16.0 Possessive pronouns - an introduction

Possessive pronouns indicate whom something belongs to.

This is my book.
These are your letters.
That is his house.
The mobile phone over there is hers.
Our child is always laughing.
Your computer is always breaking down.
Their children are always crying.

The possessive pronoun is to determination of the noun. There are two different types of possessive pronouns - the adjectival (being used as an adjective) and the substantival (being used as to noun).
