The pronunciation of German seems to be not too difficult. A bit more challenging is the German grammar, but we will come to this a bit later. The German language has about 48 different sounds (or as the linguist would say 48 phonemes). We just have a look at some that might seem a bit strange to somebody not having German as a mother tongue.
